Indication

Local treatment of acne.

Ingredients

• Benzoyl peroxide 10% w/w (equivalent to 10 g anhydrous benzoyl peroxide per 100 g gel)

Direction

Follow the doctor’s prescription. Apply a thin layer to affected areas on clean, dry skin once or twice daily; use once daily if the skin is sensitive. Wash hands after application.

Side effects

• Very common: dry skin
• redness
• peeling
• and burning sensation. Common: itching and irritant contact dermatitis. Reduce application frequency or stop and seek advice if irritation is significant.

Precautions

• For external use only. Avoid eyes and mucous membranes. Do not use if allergic to benzoyl peroxide or any ingredient. The gel can bleach hair
• nails
• and natural or synthetic fabrics. Keep away from children.
