Indication

Symptomatic treatment of vaginal atrophy due to estrogen deficiency in postmenopausal women, including vaginal dryness or irritation.

Ingredients

• Promestriene 10 mg per vaginal capsule

Direction

Use only as prescribed by a doctor. The official product information describes one vaginal capsule daily in courses of 20 days; use the lowest effective dose for the shortest necessary duration.

Side effects

• Vaginal or vulvar burning
• discomfort or pain
• and vaginal discharge may occur. Delayed allergic reactions may occur because the product contains sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate and sodium propyl parahydroxybenzoate.

Precautions

• Do not use with known or suspected breast cancer or other estrogen
• dependent tumors
• unexplained genital bleeding
• untreated endometrial hyperplasia
• or a history/current venous thromboembolism. This is not a contraceptive. Use only under medical supervision and tell the prescriber about other medicines and relevant medical history.
