Symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhoea.

• Loperamide hydrochloride 2 mg per capsule

• Constipation
• abdominal cramps
• bloating
• nausea
• dizziness or drowsiness
• Seek medical help if severe abdominal pain or swelling
• or blood in the stool occurs

Precautions

• Use only as directed by a doctor or pharmacist
• stop and seek advice if diarrhoea does not improve within 48 hours
• or if there is fever or blood in the stool
• Do not give to young children unless directed by a doctor
• Drink plenty of fluids to replace fluid lost through diarrhoea
• Keep out of reach of children.
