Indication

Antiviral used to treat herpes simplex virus infections of the skin and mucous membranes, including initial and recurrent genital herpes and cold sores, as well as shingles (herpes zoster) and chickenpox.

Ingredients

• Aciclovir 400 mg

Direction

For oral use. Dosage as directed by the physician; refer to the package insert. Begin treatment as early as possible after symptoms start.

• Headache
• Nausea
• vomiting or diarrhoea
• Dizziness
• tiredness or fever
• Skin rash or itching
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any reaction is severe or persistent
• and stop use if allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Prescription only medicine
• use only as directed by a physician.
• Do not use if allergic to aciclovir or valaciclovir.
• Tell your doctor if you have kidney problems
• are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Drink plenty of fluids during treatment.
• Keep out of reach of children.
