Phosphalugel 12.38 g per 20 g sachet

Indication

Symptomatic relief of stomach and gullet discomfort such as heartburn, burning, stomach pain and acid reflux, including with gastritis, stomach or duodenal ulcer and non-ulcer dyspepsia.

Ingredients

• 20% colloidal aluminium phosphate gel 12.38 g per 20 g sachet

Direction

Take at the time of pain or as directed by a doctor. Usual dose is 1 to 2 sachets each time, 2 to 3 times a day, and no more than 6 sachets a day. Read the enclosed leaflet before use.

Side effects

• Constipation (the most common effect)
• nausea or vomiting
• Change in taste or an allergic reaction in some people
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any effect persists
• and stop use if an allergic reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredient or have severe kidney disease
• Keep out of the reach of children and read the leaflet before use
• Take other medicines at a different time and ask a doctor or pharmacist before using it with them
