Indication
This medicine contains paracetamol. It is used to treat pain and/or fever including headache, flu-like symptoms, toothache and muscle soreness, in children weighing 11 to 25 kg.
Ingredients
- Paracetamol 200 mg per sachet
- Excipients with known effect: sucrose
- sodium benzoate
Direction
Oral use. Shake the sachet before use. Pour the contents into a glass, add a small amount of drink (e.g. water, milk, fruit juice), stir and drink immediately. The dose depends on the child's weight (see leaflet): e.g. 11-16 kg: 1 sachet per dose, every 6 hours, maximum 4 sachets per day. Respect the minimum time between doses and do not exceed the maximum number of sachets per day.
Side effects
- Rare skin reactions such as redness
- rash or hives
- Rare blood disorders (bruising
- nosebleeds)
- stop and see a doctor
- Overdose can cause serious liver damage
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any side effect is troublesome or persists
- and stop use if an allergic reaction occurs.
Precautions
- Overdose = danger: too much of this medicine can destroy the liver.
- Do not give any other medicines that contain paracetamol.
- Do not use if allergic to paracetamol or in severe liver disease.
- Contains sucrose and sodium benzoate.
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Read the package leaflet carefully before use.
