Doliprane 300 mg

Indication

Relief of pain and fever (e.g. headache, flu-like symptoms, toothache, aches and pains) in children weighing 16 to 48 kg.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 300 mg per sachet

Direction

Dissolve the contents of the sachet in a glass of water, milk or fruit juice and drink. Dose according to body weight: 16-24 kg (about 4-9 years): 1 sachet per dose, repeat if needed after 6 hours, max 4 sachets per day. 25-30 kg (about 8-11 years): 1 sachet per dose, repeat if needed after 4 hours, max 6 sachets per day. 31-48 kg (about 10-15 years): 2 sachets per dose, repeat if needed after 6 hours, max 8 sachets per day. In severe renal insufficiency, space doses at least 8 hours apart.

Side effects

• Rare allergic reactions such as skin rash
• hives or swelling
• stop use immediately if they occur.
• Very rarely
• changes in blood counts (low platelets or white cells).
• Overdose can cause severe liver damage.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any side effect is troublesome or persists
• and stop use if an allergic reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Overdose = danger: too much of this medicine can destroy the liver. Do not exceed the stated dose.
• Do not take with other medicines containing paracetamol.
• Consult a doctor if pain lasts more than 5 days or fever more than 3 days
• or in case of liver or kidney disease.
• Keep out of reach of children.
