Amlotrust 10 mg

Indication

Amlotrust is indicated for hypertension, chronic stable angina and vasospastic angina (Prinzmetal's or variant angina). It may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive or antianginal drugs.

Ingredients

• Amlodipine Besilate BP equivalent to Amlodipine 10 mg

Direction

As directed by the physician. The usual adult dose of amlodipine is 5 mg once daily, up to a maximum of 10 mg once daily.

Side effects

• Swelling of the ankles or feet (edema)
• Tiredness
• drowsiness or dizziness
• Flushing
• headache or heart palpitations
• Abdominal pain or nausea
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any side effect is troublesome or persists
• and stop use if an allergic reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Keep medicines out of the reach of children.
• Use only under the direction of a physician
• do not change the dose without medical advice.
• Tell your doctor if you have liver disease
• very low blood pressure
• severe aortic stenosis or heart failure.
