Indication
Relief of pain including headache, migraine, sore throat, toothache, rheumatic pain, dysmenorrhoea, muscle pain and colds; reduction of fever caused by colds or influenza.
Ingredients
- Paracetamol 500 mg
Direction
Oral. Adults and children over 12 years: 1–2 tablets 2–3 times a day, not more than 8 tablets per day. Children 7–12 years: 1 tablet 2–3 times a day, not more than 4 tablets per day. Leave at least 4–6 hours between doses.
Side effects
- Generally well tolerated at recommended doses
- Nausea or stomach discomfort (uncommon)
- Rarely
- skin rash
- itching or other allergic reactions – stop and consult a doctor
- Rarely
- serious skin reactions (blistering
- peeling) – stop immediately and seek medical help
- Rarely
- blood disorders (unusual bruising or bleeding)
- Overdose can cause severe liver damage – seek medical help immediately
Precautions
- Do not use if hypersensitive to paracetamol or any component
- Do not use in glucose

- phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency or severe hepatic impairment
- Do not exceed the stated dose
- do not take with other paracetamol
- containing products
- Avoid alcohol
- use with caution in liver or kidney disease
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- If fever lasts more than 3 days or pain more than 5 days
- consult a doctor
- Keep out of reach of children
