Indication

Antihistamine for the relief of symptoms of allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial), such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose and itchy watery eyes, and of chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives).

Ingredients

• Levocetirizine dihydrochloride 5 mg

Direction

Oral route, as directed by the physician. Usual dose for adults and children 6 years and older: 1 tablet (5 mg) once daily, swallowed whole with water, with or without food. See package insert for complete information.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to levocetirizine
• cetirizine
• hydroxyzine or any ingredient
• Do not use in severe kidney impairment
• dose adjustment needed in kidney disease
• May cause drowsiness
• use caution when driving or operating machinery
• Avoid alcohol and other sedatives
• Use with caution in epilepsy or urinary retention
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant or breastfeeding
• Keep out of reach of children
