Indication
Treatment of magnesium deficiency, isolated or associated, and its symptoms such as nervousness, irritability, mild anxiety, transient fatigue, minor sleep disorders, muscle cramps, tingling and palpitations.
Ingredients
- Magnesium lactate dihydrate 470 mg (equivalent to Mg2+ 48 mg)
- Pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) 5 mg
Direction
Oral route. Adults: 6 to 8 tablets per day in 2-3 divided doses. Children over 6 years (about 20 kg): 4 to 6 tablets per day in 2-3 divided doses. Swallow tablets whole with a large glass of water during meals. Treatment is usually limited to about one month; stop once magnesium levels are normal. Read the leaflet inside before use.
Side effects
- Diarrhoea
- Abdominal pain or discomfort
- Nausea or vomiting
- Rarely allergic skin reactions

- Long
- term high
- dose vitamin B6 may cause tingling or numbness (sensory neuropathy)
Precautions
- Do not use if allergic to any ingredient
- Contraindicated in severe kidney impairment (creatinine clearance below 30 ml/min)
- Do not take together with levodopa (pyridoxine reduces its effect)
- Separate from tetracyclines
- fluoroquinolones and other oral drugs whose absorption is reduced by magnesium (at least 2
- 3 hours apart)
- Not for children under 6 years (tablet form)
- If calcium deficiency is also present
- correct magnesium deficiency first
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant or breastfeeding
- Keep out of reach of children
