Indication
A non-sedating antihistamine syrup used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes) and urticaria in children and adults who cannot swallow tablets.
Ingredients
- Cetirizine dihydrochloride 0.1% (1 mg/ml) oral solution
- 75 ml
Direction
Adults and children over 12 years: 10 ml (10 mg) once daily. Children 6β12 years: 5 ml (5 mg) twice daily or 10 ml once daily. Children 2β6 years: 2.5 ml (2.5 mg) twice daily. Use the measuring device provided.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- fatigue.
- Dry mouth
- headache.
- Rarely: allergic reactions.
Precautions
- May cause mild drowsiness.
- Reduce dose in renal impairment.
- Keep out of reach of children.
