Konimag 300 mg / 300 mg / 50 mg per 7 ml

Indication

Antacid and antiflatulent to relieve symptoms of excess stomach acid such as heartburn, stomach pain, nausea and flatulence/bloating associated with gastritis, peptic ulcer and dyspepsia.

Ingredients

• Magnesium trisilicate 300 mg
• Aluminium hydroxide dried gel 300 mg
• Simethicone 50 mg

Direction

Adults: 1 to 2 sachets 3 to 4 times a day, taken 1 to 3 hours after meals and at bedtime, or as directed by a doctor. Children 6-12 years: 1/2 to 1 sachet 3 to 4 times a day. Read the package insert before use.

Side effects

• Constipation or diarrhoea.
• Nausea may occur.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Use with caution in kidney impairment
• do not use long term without medical advice.
• May reduce absorption of other medicines (e.g. tetracyclines
• iron)
• take them at least 2 hours apart.
