Deulee Plus Ivermectin & Albendazole Tablets

Indication

Broad-spectrum antiparasitic combination for treatment of intestinal worm infections (nematodes, helminths) and ectoparasites. Used for soil-transmitted helminths, strongyloidiasis, and loiasis.

Ingredients

• Albendazole (strength not specified)

Direction

Take as a single dose on an empty stomach with water, or as directed by a physician. Specific dose depends on body weight. Consult product label or physician for weight-based dosing.

Side effects

• Abdominal pain
• nausea
• vomiting.
• Mazzotti reaction (with ivermectin for onchocerciasis): fever
• rash
• arthralgia.
• Headache
• dizziness.
• Elevated liver enzymes.

Precautions

• Do not use in children weighing less than 15kg without medical advice.
• Contraindicated in pregnancy (first trimester) and breastfeeding (first week postpartum).
• Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment.
• Ivermectin should be used with caution in areas endemic for Loa loa (risk of encephalopathy).
• Keep out of reach of children.
