Indication
Management of moderate to moderately severe pain in adults.
Ingredients
- Tramadol hydrochloride 50mg
Direction
Take 50–100mg every 4–6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 400mg per day. Take with or without food. Swallow capsule/tablet whole.
Side effects
- Nausea and vomiting
- Dizziness and drowsiness
- Constipation
- Headache
- Dry mouth
- Sweating
- Rarely: seizures
- serotonin syndrome
Precautions
- Risk of dependence and abuse
- use with caution in patients with history of substance misuse.
- Avoid concomitant use with other CNS depressants
- including alcohol.
- Do not use in patients with epilepsy or those at risk of seizures.
- Not recommended for children under 12 years.
- Use with caution in elderly
- hepatic
- or renal impairment.
- May impair ability to drive or operate machinery.
