Indication

Relief of heartburn, acid indigestion, gastritis, and flatulence associated with gastric hyperacidity and peptic ulcer.

Ingredients

• Aluminium hydroxide 320mg
• Magnesium hydroxide 100mg
• Simethicone 20mg per 5ml

Direction

Take 10–20ml (2–4 teaspoons) four times daily, 1 hour after meals and at bedtime, or as directed. Shake well before use.

Side effects

• Constipation (aluminium component)
• Diarrhoea (magnesium component)
• Nausea

Precautions

• Avoid taking within 2 hours of other oral medications.
• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment.
• Prolonged use should be under medical supervision.
