Panadol Extra 500mg Paracetamol + 65mg Caffeine

Indication

Relief of mild to moderate pain including headache, migraine, dental pain, and musculoskeletal pain. Caffeine enhances the analgesic effect of paracetamol.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500mg
• Caffeine 65mg

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: Take 1–2 tablets every 4–6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours. Take with a glass of water.

Side effects

• Nausea
• Restlessness
• Insomnia (due to caffeine)
• Rare: hepatotoxicity with overdose

Precautions

• Do not take with other paracetamol
• containing products.
• Avoid in patients with severe hepatic impairment or known liver disease.
• Limit caffeine from other sources to avoid overstimulation.
• Not recommended for long
• term use without medical advice.
• Consult a doctor if pain persists for more than 3 days.
