Indication
Max Pharma Ear/Eye Drops is a fluoroquinolone-based antibacterial solution used for treatment of bacterial infections of the ear (otitis externa) and/or eye (bacterial conjunctivitis, blepharitis) caused by susceptible organisms.
Ingredients
- Ofloxacin 0.5% w/w ophthalmic/otic solution (combination product — additional active ingredients not specified)
Direction
Eyes: Instil 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 2–4 hours while awake. Ears: Instil 5–10 drops into the affected ear(s) twice daily or as directed by a physician. Follow physician's dosing instructions.
Side effects
- Transient burning or stinging upon instillation.
- Mild local irritation.
- Blurred vision (transient
- eye use).
Precautions
- Do not use if allergic to ofloxacin or other quinolones.
- For ophthalmic/otic use only — do not swallow or inject.
- Avoid contact lens use during eye treatment.
- Prolonged use may lead to overgrowth of non
- susceptible organisms.
- Consult a doctor if symptoms do not improve within 7 days.
- Keep out of reach of children.
