Indication
- Serious bacterial infections - Bone and joint infections - Septicemia - Skin and soft tissue infections - Respiratory tract infections
Ingredients
- Lincomycin
Direction
Take orally on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. Usually 500mg three to four times daily depending on severity of infection.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Nausea and vomiting
- Abdominal pain
- Skin rash or itching
- Oral or vaginal thrush
Precautions
- History of gastrointestinal disease
- Risk of Clostridioides difficile
- associated diarrhea
- Severe kidney or liver impairment
- Hypersensitivity to lincosamides
