Indication
Treatment of fungal infections including vulvovaginal candidiasis, oral thrush, dermatophytosis, pityriasis versicolor, onychomycosis, and systemic fungal infections
Ingredients
- Itraconazole 100mg
Direction
Adults: 100-200mg once or twice daily depending on infection type. For onychomycosis: 200mg once daily for 3 months or pulse therapy. Take capsules with food for maximum absorption.
Side effects
- Nausea
- abdominal pain
- diarrhoea
- headache
- dizziness
- elevated liver enzymes
- skin rash (uncommon)
Precautions
- Monitor liver function during prolonged treatment. Contraindicated in pregnancy (first trimester) and with certain drugs (simvastatin

- midazolam). Heart failure risk with prolonged use.
