Indication
- Bacterial eye infections (conjunctivitis, blepharitis) - Bacterial keratitis - Infections caused by gentamicin-sensitive organisms
Ingredients
- Gentamicin (as sulfate) 0.4%
Direction
Instill 1-2 drops into the affected eye every few hours as directed by a doctor; reduce frequency as the infection improves.
Side effects
- Transient burning
- stinging
- or irritation
- Eye redness
- Itching or hypersensitivity reactions
Precautions
- For ophthalmic use only
- not for injection
- Avoid wearing contact lenses during treatment
- Prolonged use may cause overgrowth of non
- susceptible organisms
- Stop if hypersensitivity reaction occurs
