Indication
Relief of inflammation, itching and irritation due to insect bites, rashes, skin allergies, and other minor skin irritations.
Ingredients
- Hydrocortisone 1% w/w
- Chlorocresol 0.12% w/w (preservative)
Direction
Apply to the affected area as directed by a physician. See enclosed leaflet for more information.
Side effects
- Local burning
- stinging or itching at the application site.
- Skin dryness
- thinning or atrophy with prolonged use.
- Acne
- like eruptions
- folliculitis
- or hypopigmentation.
- Allergic contact dermatitis in sensitive individuals
- stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if a reaction occurs.
Precautions
- Controlled medicine
- use only as directed by a physician.
- For external use only.
- Do not apply to the face
- broken or infected skin
- or large body areas unless advised by a doctor.
- Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- especially in children
- during pregnancy or breastfeeding
- and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.
