Indication
Analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic combination for the short-term relief of mild to moderate pain such as muscle pain, menstrual pain, toothache, headache and migraine, back and joint pain, and for the reduction of fever.
Ingredients
- Ibuprofen BP 400 mg
- Paracetamol BP 325 mg
Direction
Oral route, as directed by the physician. Usual dose for adults and adolescents 12 years and older: 1 tablet up to 3 times daily with or after food, at least 6 hours apart; do not exceed 3 tablets in 24 hours. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time.
Side effects
- Nausea
- indigestion
- heartburn or stomach pain
- Diarrhoea or constipation
- Dizziness or headache
- Skin rash or itching
- Rarely
- stomach ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding (black stools
- vomiting blood)
- Rarely
- allergic reactions such as swelling of the face
- mouth and throat
- difficulty breathing
- itching or rash
- stop use and seek medical help
Precautions
- Overdose of paracetamol may cause serious liver damage
- do not take with other paracetamol
- or ibuprofen
- containing products or other NSAIDs
- Do not use if allergic to ibuprofen
- paracetamol
- aspirin or other NSAIDs
- or with active stomach ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding
- Use with caution in liver
- kidney or heart disease
- high blood pressure
- asthma
- and in the elderly
- avoid alcohol
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant or breastfeeding
- avoid in the last trimester of pregnancy
- Use as directed by the physician
- do not exceed the recommended dose
- Keep out of reach of children
