Rhoxim 200 mg

Indication

Treatment of bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms, such as urinary tract infections, upper and lower respiratory tract infections (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis), otitis media and uncomplicated gonorrhoea.

Ingredients

• Cefixime (as trihydrate) 200 mg

Direction

Disperse the tablet in one teaspoonful of water before taking. Usual adult dose: 200 mg twice daily or 400 mg once daily, as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Nausea
• vomiting
• diarrhoea or abdominal pain
• Skin rash or itching

• Do not use if allergic to this antibiotic or related antibiotics
• Complete the full course prescribed by your doctor
